We have just received word that we are not going to be allowed to run school buses in our snow race, the Winter Blast 100 at Speedway 51 powered by the Autosaver Group in Groveton, New Hampshire.
Due to the un-equal size of a school bus versus the size of four cylinder car, the decision has been made that we are outlawing all school buses from the event. If you have any questions contact Dick Therrien at 802-274-8823, or e-mail him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The winter Blast 100 sponsored by White Mountains Community College, Mom’s North Country Powersports, Batch’s Kwik Stop, Berlin Optical Expressions, NEK Trophies, and the North Country Family Restaurant is set to go green on Saturday, January 19th at 2pm, with a bad weather date of Sunday, January 20th at 2pm. Pit gates open at 9am and grandstands will open at 12:30pm. Tech will end at 1pm with a mandatory drivers meeting at 1:05pm. A mandatory scorers meeting will be held in the main grandstands at 1pm.
Speedway 51 is located at 78 Craggy Road in Groveton, New Hampshire. For more information visit the website at www.speedway51int.com.
