Speedway 51 Promoter Dick Therrien is pleased to announce that Creative Counters of Lyndonville, Vermont and Vermont Solid Surface of St. Johnsbury, Vermont have teamed up to sponsor the Late Model Sportsman division at Speedway 51 powered by the Autosaver Group in Groveton, New Hampshire. The deal was completed this week and these two fine businesses will be a great addition to our sponsorship team.

In 2019 our Late Models will be running a five race series that features events on June 8th, June 22nd, July 13th, August 17th and September 8th. The Series is designed for race teams that would like to run a limited schedule, and/or have a limited budget to race with. There is a strict tire buy program to keep costs down for the teams. The purse structure is solid from top to bottom and ranges from $700-$1,200 to win.

“We put a ton of work into this program during the off season and we hope that it will pay off come race day, stated Therrien. We have received a lot of positive feedback, and we hope it will carry over into the Series. I did my best to make sure there are no conflicts with other track or series, and four of the events will be 75 laps and the finale will be 100 laps. The overall Series champion will start on the pole for the Annual Mom’s North Country Powersports Fall Brawl, and the point runner-up will start on the outside pole position. The fall Brawl features the Lil Joey Generation Next Late Model 151 paying $5,000 to win on Saturday, October 5th.”
